Possible I’m a Celebrity winner: Jill Scott She was on Get Me Out of Here! last year, but she still didn’t get as much money as Matt Hancock did during his time in the jungle.
Former England player crowned “Queen of the Jungle” in 2022 series; MP placed third; it has now come to light that he received a whopping £320,000 for his efforts.
Jill, who has her own Boxx2Boxx coffee shop in Northenden, Manchester, smiled and told Good Morning Britain, “A lot cheaper” when asked if her charge was “more or lower” than that of her former campmate.
She quipped: ‘If I’d got that, I could’ve opened another coffee shop.’
The Lioness appeared on GMB on Friday and was questioned about the WhatsApp group among the campers, when it was revealed that Hancock might not truly be a member of the group.
Before Kate Garraway claimed the former health secretary might not be a part of the group, she reassured everyone that “we do have a WhatsApp group really, so we’re all in there.”

Jill added: ‘Is he actually not in? Oh, okay! I’ll check when I get off here, but I thought he was! But yeah, if there’s an event coming up like a birthday – I feel like I’ve just given a political answer there. I learned something from the jungle.’
She maintains touch with her co-stars, but her closest friend is the runner-up, Owen Warner of Hollyoaks, and she has confirmed that she will be watching tonight’s FA Cup Fourth Round match between Manchester City and Arsenal with Owen.

She named Owen when asked about her most frequent contact. We’re heading to the Man City vs. Arsenal game together, so I’m in London today and will return immediately thereafter. When I was in there with him, he felt like my little brother.
After news broke on Thursday that Hancock had been paid £320,000 for his month in the jungle, she made the remark.
He promised to give a portion of his enormous paycheck to St. Nicholas Hospice Care before he even started working there.
A spokeswoman for Matt has recently said, “As well as raising the profile of his dyslexia campaign in front of 11-million viewers, Matt’s donated £10,000 to St. Nicholas Hospice in Suffolk and the British Dyslexia Association, off the back of his appearance on I’m A Celebrity…
Get Me Out of Here.’
Good Morning Britain airs weekdays at 6am on ITV1.
