Carol Vorderman of I’m A Celebrity is more worried about her bottom being the most difficult hurdle in a Bushtucker challenge.
On Tuesday’s upcoming episode, the former Countdown star, 62, is tasked with the latest challenge and chooses Fatima Whitbread, 62, to assist her.
The retired javelin thrower is first dissatisfied with his participation, telling the Bush Telegraph that ‘my name came out of Carol’s mouth within seconds.’
Fatima, on the other hand, quickly warms up after arriving at the Trial clearing, remarking that their coupling fits ‘the intellect and the brawn.’
‘It’ll be a good combo,’ she says.
Ant and Dec disclose that the job is named Tanks of Tormet and will need Carol to swim across four sections of tanks infested with monsters such as crocodiles and snakes while collecting stars.
Meanwhile, Fatima cranks open the various portions of the tanks while Carol attempts to gather 10 stars in 10 minutes.
Carol concedes that her ‘buoyant’ rear end may be an issue before diving into the tanks.
She jokes: ‘My bottom always floats to the top… it’s the most buoyant thing in Britain. So getting down underwater is my biggest problem.’
Carol is hoping to make it underwater.
Carol and Fatima are among the campmates returning to I’m A Celebrity, which was shot in South Africa’s Kruger National Park.
Joe Swash, 41, and Dean Gaffney, 45, will also arrive in the jungle on Tuesday’s episode, where they will face a Bushtucker Trial right away.
Shaun Ryder and Gillian McKeith were the first to be eliminated, with Georgia ‘Toff’ Toffolo, Andy Whyment, and Jordan Banjo remaining in contention for the title.
I’m A Celebrity South Africa continues tonight at 9pm on ITV and ITVX.
