Jordan North left I’m A Celebrity viewers in hysterics as he battled his way through the Viper Vault trial by repeatedly yelling about his ‘happy place’.

The Radio One DJ was joined by EastEnders star Shane Richie for the first trial of the series, and was trapped in an underground room filled with snakes.

Tasked with relaying messages to Shane in a separate box, a terrified Jordan repeatedly screamed about his ‘happy place’ as he tried to get through the trials.

Claustrophobic and terrified of snakes, Jordan almost didn’t do the trial at all, but was eventually talked around for the sake of saving those in camp.

But even Ant and Dec couldn’t help but snigger at his attempts to keep himself going, admitting they knew they shouldn’t laugh but couldn’t resist it.

Ultimately, once he was out of the room, Ant and Dec asked the ultimate question: ‘What exactly was his happy place?’

And the answer was possibly just as precious as his efforts, replying Turf Moor – the home ground of Burnley FC, a team currently second from the bottom of the Premier League and are yet to win a game this season.

Viewers were cracking up at Jordan but cheered on his efforts – even if Turf Moor wasn’t quite the happy place they had in mind.

Jordan and Shane, despite their fears, absolutely smashed it, and managed to get nine out of the 10 possible stars on offer.

Unfortunately for Jordan, viewers are enjoying him struggling in the trials so much that he’s now been put up once again.

This time, he’ll be joined by Vernon Kay and Beverley Callard for Frights of The Round Table… the first eating challenge of the series.

Will his infamously weak stomach manage to hold out for this challenge? Or is Ofcom about to get more complaints about him vomiting on air?

Guess we’ll find out tomorrow…

I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here airs weekly from 9pm on ITV.
