Alison Hammond, a TV personality, became overcome when showing off her new house and paying respect to her late mother.
The 49-year-old anchor showed off a wide yard after listing her four-bedroom property in Solihull, Birmingham, where she lived with her son, for £700,000.
Alison, a proud Brummie, is said to have relocated closer to London as a result of the This Morning shakeup, and she provided a glimpse of her new luxurious house while thanking fans for their support.
‘Feeling very emotional knowing that without all your support and love I wouldn’t be looking at this view,’ she wrote on her Instagram story to her 1.5million followers.
She then paid respect to her mother, Maria, who was quite close to her but died of liver and lung cancer in 2020.
Alison continued: ‘This is my new garden I would draw as a child but never dreamed it would be a reality. Thank you.
‘Wish Mum was here to see it.’
Her ideal garden had a large wooden gazebo with a fire pit, a patio area, and a walk leading into the vast wilderness beyond.
The former Big Brother star then went inside to support buddy Dermot O’Leary on This Morning, revealing her home room at the same time.
Alison’s lounge was painted cream with white cabinets behind the television.
A star-studded prize, glittering decorations, and a large white bouquet added to the sparkle and glamour.
Her Birmingham house was periodically featured on This Morning and had a hot tub, an open-plan kitchen, and a dining room.
She had adorned one kitchen wall with all of her accomplishments, as well as a glittering light-up mirror next to the enormous dining table.
Before she moved out, viewers got a sneak peek into her bedroom when Michael McIntyre surprised her with a midnight wake-up call on his Big Show.
Alison awoke to a whole camera team in her large quilted headboard bed, giggling as she wrapped her blue duvet around herself.
‘What time is it?’, she asked the comedian to which Big Brother narrator Marcus Bentley, 56, appeared and told her: ‘1:30am’.
‘Marcus! Hello Marcus’, she gave a shocked reply before telling Michael: ‘I love this show. Babes, I’ve got no make-up on.’
He assured her they had a glam team, and Marcus gave her a countdown while she raced to get dressed.
