Joe Wicks could be raking in some serious cash thanks to a new fitness and health app, new reports claim.
The YouTuber has become known as the UK’s gym teacher thanks to his exercise classes during lockdown, and now hopes to keep people fit and healthy even after we start returning to normal.
The fitness expert, who earned an MBE for the efforts to help the nation this year, worth an estimated £14.5million already, is now going to expand his empire with his Lean in 15 branding, creating an app full of recipes and workouts, in a bid to expand across the world.
As a result, he could be raking in some serious cash, with sources saying he could become a billionaire.
‘Joe has scoured the market for the best tech heads to work on the app and wants it to be super user-friendly,’ a source told The Sun On Sunday.
‘He’s all about accessibility and not overcomplicating his brand. America’s got a huge obesity problem and he’d love to help tackle that with the app.
‘Users will be able to adapt it to their body type and fitness level so everyone can have a go.’
Ever since lockdown took effect, Joe has been trying his best to keep the nation active and mentally fit as well as physically fit.
The app plans come just weeks after Joe raised a staggering £2million for Children In Need doing a 24-hour workout.
He’s now hoping to teach other wannabe exercise fanatics how to make the most of their YouTube channel as well, joining forces with other online megastars like KSI for a new initiative called The Rise.
