Jonnie Irwin has celebrated his recent professional move by confirming his return to television, much to the pleasure of his admirers.
The 49-year-old, who has terminal disease, stated in an Instagram post that he was recording multiple portions for BBC’s Morning Live.
Sharing a picture of himself smiling with a member of the camera crew in the background, he wrote in his caption: ‘So good to be back filming for @bbcmorninglive.
‘We’ve just shot to short films about renovating your home and what to look out for.
‘I think my smug smile betrays the lack of a massive commute for once and the extra couple of hours I got in my scratcher as we filmed in Newcastle Upon Tyne.’
As numerous people praised Jonnie’s most exciting statement, he added that he would let his fans know when his portions will be released, “when I know.”

The A Place in the Sun host was diagnosed with terminal cancer in November after a tumour migrated from his lung to his brain.
Jonnie Holmes is married to Jessica Holmes, and the pair has three children.
Since officially confirming his cancer diagnosis, the TV host has spent as much time as possible with his family, most recently enjoying a movie night with his children.
He also recently celebrated his seventh wedding anniversary with Jessica, whom he calls a “angel.”
