Josie Gibson has addressed speculations regarding her future on This Morning.
In an Instagram post, the TV presenter said that many fans had lately asked her why she had quit the ITV show.
Given the widespread conjecture, the 38-year-old chose to clarify the situation.

‘I am eternally grateful for all your love and support and I can not thank you enough. JG #squashingrumours.’
The gossip mill may have begun churning after Josie posted on Instagram three days ago that it was her ‘final day’ hosting the programme with Dermot O’Leary.
She wrote at the time: ‘My last day with @dermotoleary tomorrow before @alisonhammond55 returns Friday.
‘Then @sianwelby takes the @thismorning reins next week. What an amazing group of ladies to share the sofa with!!!!!

Alison Hammond wrote: ‘Beautiful 😍,’ while a fan going by the name GMG added: ‘Thank god I love you on this morning.’
After numerous friends and fans reached out, Josie shared a follow-up message in the comments, which read: ‘Awww thanks Guys ❤️❤️❤️❤️.’
Several others also advocated for her to have a more regular role as a permanent presenter on the show in the future.
The TV personality recently went on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! and finished fourth place behind the winner, former Made In Chelsea star Sam Thompson.
She won the 11th season of Big Brother in 2010, and joined the This Morning team as a regular presenter in 2019.
