Josie Gibson got bitten by a pig during a live segment on Monday’s This Morning.

The TV host spoke with Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford via video link from a pig farm in Buckinghamshire where she explained that petting pigs is meant to be relaxing.

‘Good morning Eamonn, good morning Ruth,’ Josie laughed.

‘I am down at Kew Little Pigs in Amersham where I also just got bit by a pig.’

As she attempted to continue with the segment, poor Josie got bitten again as she said: ‘Ow, it bit me again.’

‘Apparently, petting pigs is really good for stress relief,’ she continued.

Looks like it Josie…

Eamonn couldn’t help but make matters worse after explaining to his wife that pigs are a great way to dispose of a dead body.

‘They eat everything and leave no evidence behind,’ he said.

After going back to Josie later on in the show, she asked a farmer: ‘Why didn’t you tell me they bite?’

To which she insisted: ‘It didn’t really hurt.’

It’s not the first time poor Josie has had a run in with an animal.

Earlier this month, the 35-year-old swallowed a spider on This Morning while enjoying a pint at Somerset Cider and Brandy Farm.

She also recently left viewers howling after she took on the world’s fastest zip wire while on air.

This Morning airs weekdays at 10am on ITV.
