K-Pop star Jihae joins Succession cast ahead of season 3

The cast of Succession’s upcoming third season continues to expand, and now K-Pop star Jihae has signed on to star.

The singer and actor Jihae Kim, a rock singer and actor from Seoul better known as Jihae, will appear in a recurring role in the new run of the show.

According to Hollywood Reporter, Jihae will play PR consultant Berry Schneider. The actress joins alongside new names Sanaa Lathan and Linda Emond.

Jihae is known for her previous performances in the movie Mortal Engines and TV show Altered Carbon.

As well as acting, Jihae is known for her music career. The singer released her first album in 2007 and recently released a version of David Bowie’s Life on Mars.

There’s more trouble on the way for the Roy family in season three, with the battle for Waystar continuing and Kendall (Jeremy Strong) and Logan (Brian Cox)’s relationship taking a dramatic turn.

It was previously announced that Justine Lupe, David Rasche and Fisher Stevens, who have all previously appeared on the show, will now become even more vital to the plot.

Season two ended with Kendall effectively declaring war on his father Logan, ratting him and his shady dealings out in a very public press conference.

Production on season three has now begun, after coronavirus caused delays in 2020.

Succession airs on HBO in the US and is available on NOW TV in the UK.
