Kaley Cuoco had a sweet message for The Big Bang Theory viewers ahead of the premiere of her new series, the Flight Attendant.

The 34-year-old played Penny on the sitcom for 12 years, and is set to spread her wings in her latest project, for HBO Max.

Taking to Instagram, she shared a sweet video to celebrate her new show, which airs on Thursday, while also giving Penny fans a shout-out.

‘I’m really grateful that the show is finally airing tomorrow,’ she said in the latest Cup of Cuoco video. ‘I hope you guys enjoy it.

‘Eat your Thanksgiving dinner, grab a cocktail and jump on the couch and watch the first three. And I want to know your thoughts, good and bad.

‘You know I appreciate you Big Bang Theory fans who maybe really loved Penny for so long and find it hard to turn that off, and look at me in a different way, and follow me down this path.

‘I know that can be really hard, so I appreciate the people that took the chance and even maybe if you were unsure, are going to take this flight with me and check out the new show.

‘I really do appreciate that and I think you’re really gonna like it.’

Kaley ended the video by adding: ‘Thank you everyone involved, it has been an absolute honour, and I’m excited to see it fly from here.’

The Flight Attendant is a small-screen adaptation of the book of the same name, by Chris Bohjalian.

It follows the titular character, Cassandra (Kaley) who wakes up one morning in Bangkok with a dead body lying next to her.

The actress also serves as producer on the mini-series, and previously revealed how excited she was to turn her hand to a dramatic role.

’I love making people laugh, but it’s been an incredible experience working my dramatic muscles.

‘This cast is so experienced and has surrounded me with so much support. They make me feel like I can do anything.’
