Following the return of Celebrity Big Brother, comedian Kathy Burke threw serious shade at AJ Odudu and Will Best.
After overseeing the relaunch of the original series last year, AJ, 36, and Will, 39, returned to welcome the celebrities into the iconic house.
As the leaked lineup predicted, AJ and Will greeted X Factor’s Sharon Osbourne and Louis Walsh, as well as Kate Middleton’s controversial uncle Gary Goldsmith.
According to Kathy, 59, there was one notable absence from the evening’s events.
Kathy appeared to mock AJ and Will’s presenting abilities when she told X that she was pining for Rylan Clark, who had previously been rumoured to be Big Brother’s new presenter.
Today (Tuesday, March 5), the morning after the CBB launch, Kathy wrote: ‘Not getting Rylan to present #CBB.’
She accompanied the remark with a gif that reads: ‘Big mistake. Huge mistake.’
Rylan was ‘devastated’ to not be invited back to Big Brother as a host, despite ‘presuming’ to continue his legacy on the hit reality show.
Last September he told the Loose Women panel: ‘I just sillily presumed I’d be asked back, I knew Emma wasn’t going back, she’s a good friend of mine, and I wasn’t, it didn’t transpire to be.
‘I could be one of those people now that sits there and goes, “It’s what I wanted.” It wasn’t what I wanted.

‘I would’ve gone back to Big Brother in a heartbeat, and it was quite difficult actually, because I didn’t find out until near on when everyone else found out, which I was quite upset about.’
The 35-year-old added: ‘But I genuinely, hand on heart, wish everyone well because I wanted that show to come back for a long time.
‘But from a personal point of view I was devastated.’
Celebrity Big Brother 2024 will feature Strictly star Nikita Kuzmin, Love Island winner Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu, This Morning’s Fern Britton, Corrie actor Colson Smith, musical theatre star Marisha Wallace, and Ibiza Weekender’s David Potts.
British TV presenter Zeze Millz, Heartstopper actor Bradley Riches, The Real Housewives of Cheshire star Lauren Simon, and Dragons’ Den star Levi Roots were also in attendance.
ITV confirmed in November that the celebrity Big Brother spin-off would return on its flagship channel, ITV1.
The relaunch follows the successful revival of the original show, Big Brother, which received the highest viewing figures in over a decade, with millions tuning in.
The celebrity version has featured A-listers such as Ryan Clark, Spencer Pratt, Kerry Katona, Shilpa Shetty, Les Dennis, and Michael Barrymore. The show’s 22 winners range from boyband legends to controversial reality stars.
Celebrity Big Brother continues tonight (Tuesday March, 5) on ITV and ITVX at 9pm.
