Katie Piper has thanked her fans for ‘all the love’ as she made her first appearance as a regular on the Loose Women panel today.
The presenter had previously made guest appearances before on the ITV show, but is now a permanent fixture of the cast.
Katie took to Instagram to announce the news, posting two screengrabs of her previously on the series.
The 37-year-old wrote: ‘It’s official! I’m a @LooseWomen panellist!
‘Thank you to everyone for your overwhelming support and kind messages about my recent appearances! I can’t wait to become a regular and discuss some wild and wonderful things that lovely “loose” ladies delve in to!
‘Its going to be great year, and I can’t wait to take you all along for the ride! (sic)’
The official Loose Women account also shared their own statement, adding: ‘We’re delighted to welcome @katiepiper_ to the #LooseWomen family as a panellist!’

Katie has since uploaded shots of her looking glammed up in a purple gown, ahead of her first appearance as a regular on the programme.
‘Watch out @loosewomen, your newest panellist is coming for you!’ she captioned the post.
On her Instagram Stories, Katie said she was ‘super happy’ to be involved with the show, as she admitted she is ‘loving being part of a team’.

‘I’m super happy being part of the panel, it’s so cool, for me, I normally work alone, so a lot of the jobs I do are by myself,’ she said.
‘So I’m actually loving being part of a team, and they are all as genuine and nice as they seem on telly, so yeah, really loving this new connection, being part of a team, and not being at home on Zoom!’
Katie then shared a short clip of her on the set of Loose Women, turning the camera round to display her co-stars: Nadia Sawalha, Linda Robson and Judi Love.

She has also joined fellow Loose Women regulars Jane Moore, Coleen Nolan, Carol McGriffin, Stacey Solomon, Denise Welch and Janet Street-Porter.
The star’s appointment comes after long-standing panellists Andrea McLean and Saira Khan both left the show in recent months.
