Katie Price’s Mucky Mansion sitcom is allegedly on the chopping block after only two seasons.
The Channel 4 show chronicles the 44-year-old’s makeover and restorations of the former glamour model’s house, which had fallen into ruin.
Katie worked with her builder to renovate the 19-room, £1.3million Sussex property she had previously resided in in the first season, which aired in February 2022.
After being left unoccupied, the home had fallen into significant disrepair, with vandals breaking in and inflicting more damage by leaving taps running in upper bathrooms.
However, Katie’s repair journey, which saw many rooms transformed, had its share of mishaps, including her dropping a chimney pot off a cherry picker and smashing her guttering and roof tiles.
While the second season aired earlier this year, the show is now on the verge of cancellation, according to reports.
A source said: ‘A third series was always in the pipeline because the first set of shows did pretty well.
‘Now it seems that the novelty value of seeing inside Katie’s house has worn off and the numbers haven’t been great for series two.’
The insider added to The Sun: ‘It looks like the programme has now run its course – certainly on Channel 4 as the execs aren’t too keen on a third run at the show at the moment.’
Katie previously revealed why rebuilding her renowned home was so essential to her, as she aims to move on from her horrible experiences.
‘My house has been dubbed the Mucky Mansion in the past, but it’s not that anymore, I’m making it a home,’ she told Channel 4 ahead of the first season’s premiere.
‘I’m getting my hands dirty and doing a lot of the work myself and, with the help of my amazing family and some brilliant friends, I’m putting the past behind me and rebuilding.
‘My house is a bit like my life, it’s being put back together like I’m being put back together.’
Mucky Mansion is available to watch on All4.
