Kevin Costner will allegedly leave Yellowstone after season five.
The Paramount Plus drama, which debuted in 2018, features John Dutton (Kevin) and other members of the Dutton family, who operate Montana’s largest ranch.
According to recent rumours, there has been ‘conflict’ between the Hidden Figures actor, 68, and screenwriter Taylor Sheridan.
And now it’s been reported that Costner will leave the show after season five.
According to a source, the cast and crew have been kept in the dark about when they will begin production, which has created a lot of ‘frustration and confusion.’
It has been reported that Sheridan, 52, and Costner have had disagreements on work, with the former being accused of being at the focus of problems between everyone on film.
Another insider alleged there was an ego issue on set: ‘Taylor is the star of his show. He’s the most important person on all of his shows.’
But they added they hoped the issues would be resolved because ‘it’s too big a show for things not to be worked out.’
The rumours come amid mounting speculation over when the second half of the current season, which is split into two parts, would begin filming.

Season five’s first eight episodes debuted in the second part of last year.
This year, Costner earned a Golden Globe Award for best actor for his part in the series, although he was unable to accept it in person due to floods in Santa Barbara.
Despite Yellowstone’s apparent cancellation, Matthew McConaughey was reportedly in discussions to feature in a new show based on the Dutton incident.
However, in a statement provided to Deadline at the time, Paramount seemed to pour cold water over Costner’s ‘exit’ and the end of the series. It said: ‘We have no news to report. Kevin Costner is a big part of Yellowstone and we hope that’s the case for a long time to come.
Yellowstone is available to stream on Paramount Plus.
