Khloe Kardashian sobs over Tristan Thompson’s baby betrayal as she confirms split: ‘An additional slap in my face’

Khloe Kardashian confirmed the end of her relationship with Tristan Thompson once and for all, following his paternity scandal.

After spending the majority of season one of the Kardashians raving about their reunion and life with their daughter True, last week’s episode saw the moment the famous family learned that the NBA player had secretly fathered a child with Maralee Nichols, behind the reality star’s back.

The episode was left on a tense cliffhanger as Kourtney and Kim Kardashian, and Kylie Jenner, could be seen discussing the latest twist to their sibling’s rollercoaster romance – and the action picked up right where it left off in an emotional finale.

Kim could be seen talking her sister through the latest drama to hit their relationship, vowing that enough was enough.

‘So he’s been lying to you,’ she said. ‘If this isn’t the biggest sign for you to not have another baby with this human being…’

‘This cannot be happening,’ Khloe replied before breaking down in sobs over the latest betrayal.

‘Everything is going to be okay. No matter what, everything is going to be okay,’ the mom-of-four said soothingly.

‘We really believed he had changed, I was his biggest supporter. But if this isn’t more clear, the most clear situation, I don’t know what is.’

‘When someone hurts someone that you love, you get protective,’ she told the cameras in a separate VT. ‘My heart is breaking for Khloe because I know she was really trying, and I know he was really trying.

‘And then this happens and it’s like, “dude, what the f**k”.’

The athlete, who also shares son Prince from a previous relationship, did not appear on screen during the episode, but was seen in flashback footage.

Khloe later shared that she had no idea that he had fathered another child until the news broke on the internet, explaining that she ‘found out with the rest of the world’.

‘A courtesy would be not doing it, but fine, if you’re going to do it, you’re not even going to give me a f**king heads up before the rest of the world? It’s just an additional slap in my face,’ she told the camera.

‘It’s humiliating, I’m embarrassed.

‘I’m replaying every event, every grand gesture, every trip, every date, every whatever. All of that was a lie. How were you able to not say something? I feel not really in my own body…

‘When things happen to you a couple of times, you do kind of become immune to them, which is really sad.

‘It’s time to walk away and I don’t feel guilty about it. I tried so hard.’

It emerged Tristan had a baby with Maralee at the end of last year, with little Theo arriving in December.

He undertook a paternity test which confirmed that he was the newborn’s father, and promptly issued an apology to Khloe on Instagram.

‘I take full responsibility for my actions. Now that paternity has been established I look forward to amicably raising our son,’ he wrote on Instagram at the time. ‘I sincerely apologize to everyone I’ve hurt or disappointed throughout this ordeal both publicly and privately.

‘Khloe, you don’t deserve the heartache and humiliation my actions have caused you.

‘You don’t deserve the way I have treated you over the years. My actions certainly have not lined up with the way I view you.

‘I have the utmost respect and love for you. Regardless of what you may think. Again, I am so incredibly sorry.’

The Kardashians is available to stream on Hulu and Disney+ now.
