Kim Kardashian has confirmed the premiere date for the final ever season of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, and we’re getting emotional here.
The reality series, which has chronicled the lives and mishaps of the Kardashian-Jenner family, was first broadcast in 2007, but it was announced last year that the show was finally coming to an end after its 20th season.
Kim, 40, has now announced that the last ever instalment will begin on Thursday March 18 as she took to Twitter to share the season’s trailer.
And it’s fair to say you can already tell how explosive these last few episodes are going to be.
The trailer begins by showing a montage of clips from previous episodes of the show, as Kim says: ‘For the past 14 years, our family has invited cameras inside our homes to document our most personal moments.
‘We have shared the ordinary and extraordinary. Our triumphs and our tragedies.
‘Now we are upon our 20th season and still have much so more of our journey to share.’
We’re then presented with a few sneak peeks of upcoming episodes, which include Khloe Kardashian contemplating over whether or not to have another child with partner Tristan Thompson, and Scott Disick revealing he’s considering proposing to Kourtney Kardashian.
The cast finished filming for the last episode of the series back in January, and Kim was left ‘sobbing’ once the cameras stopped rolling.
The star posted a series of videos to her Instagram as she documented the final instalment of the reality staple.
‘Last filming day of Keeping Up With The Kardashians EVER!’ she wrote, sharing a video of a crew member kitting her out with a microphone.
She added: ‘Erin’s been [our] audio tech for 14 years!!!’
Kim later shared clips of their special dinner after they had wrapped up filming.
Posting a snap of a glass of bubbly, she captioned the post: ‘Officially sobbing. Grateful for every single second.’
Kim had previously shed light on the decision to end the show after so many years, explaining it was time to give her and the rest of her famous family ‘a break’.
Speaking to Grazia, she explained: ‘This was a dream of all of ours. We never imagined we would get on to season two.
‘Now we’re on 20. Sometimes we just need a break. It’s really simple. We just need a minute to regroup. You know, we haven’t had a break for 14 years.
‘We’ve gone in filming a season, then a spin-off and I think there’s no other way to say it other than, we just live such big lives. And we have kids now. And they need us.
‘There’s so much going on that, even just for a minute we need a break.’
