James, 43, has made a name for himself due to his Late Late Show being a massive hit, and it seems like the 39-year-old reality star has been taking notes, and wants the same thing for her upcoming project.
After their long-running E! series Keeping Up With The Kardashians ended in June, fans were surprised to hear the famous family were returning with a brand-new series on the streaming platform, owned by Disney.
‘James isn’t going to be involved in producing the series because he is really busy with everything he has going on, primarily hosting The Late Late Show,’ an insider claimed.
‘But Kim personally came to Fulwell to ask them to produce their new series.’
The source added to The Sun that Kim noticed how everything James touches seems to turn to gold, and knew they needed people with fresh ideas on board, so she reached out.
‘Since KUWTK ended, the whole Kardashian family has felt the pressure to do something bigger and better, so there’s a lot riding on the new series. They’re confident they are in safe hands.’
Filming for the highly-anticipated series has already begun, and viewers will finally get to see how Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker proposed to Kourtney Kardashian.
The reality show is set to premiere in 2022, and while most they’ve remained tight-lipped over its format, momager Kris Jenner has teased that the series will be ‘the next chapter’, allowing fans to see the reality stars ‘evolving as a family’.
Speaking about the new show to Deadline, Kris Jenner explained: ‘The fans will love seeing us continue the journey. I can’t say much about what’s coming but spoiler, we’re going to look fabulous and everyone’s going to watch.’
