Kim Kardashian ‘regrets’ Playboy photoshoot in 2007 as she warns younger self: ‘Don’t be so trusting’

Kim Kardashian has said she ‘regrets’ posing in racy underwear for Playboy in 2007, having previously described it as an ‘honour’.

The reality TV star looked back at the shoot in the last ever Keeping Up With Kardashians reunion episode as the series came to an end this month after 14 years on the air.

Kim joined her sisters Khloe, Kourtney, Kendall and Kylie, and her mum Kris Jenner to look back at the final season and the show as a whole, which followed their daily lives.

In a clip shared on the KUWTK YouTube channel the famous family were asked to name which moment from the programme they want to ‘relive’ or that they ‘regret’.

In response to ‘Kourtney waxing Khloe’s vagina’, Kourtney replied ‘Relive’ straight away.

When a voice off screen asks about Kim’s Playboy shoot, Kim says nothing but closes her eyes and scrunches her nose with a look that suggested ‘regret’.

Her family called out ‘Regret, regret’ with Kim adding: ‘Regret. I’m over it.’

The star, 40, had previously said she was ‘honoured’ to have taken part in a tweet in tribute to Playboy founder Hugh Hefner, who died in 2017.

However the mum-of-four has spoken openly about feeling ‘sorry’ she agreed to pose for the magazine, in special 12-page pictorial. The process of the shoot was included in an episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, with Kris overseeing the process.

She told Harper’s Bazaar in 2010: ‘I’m sorry I did Playboy. I was uncomfortable.

‘[My mum said] “Go for it. They might never ask you again. Our (reality TV) show isn’t on the air yet. No one knows who you are. Do it and you’ll have these beautiful pictures to look at when you’re my age.”‘

In the reunion special the ladies were also asked to offer advice to their younger selves, with Kim warning: ‘I would say don’t be so trusting, but still keep your open heart and trust the universe.’
