Kris Jenner battled to hold back tears as she revealed in the season 5 trailer of The Kardashians that she had been diagnosed with a cancer.
In a trailer for the upcoming reality programme, the 68-year-old mother revealed the findings of a recent medical exam to her daughters.
‘I had my scan, and they found a cyst and a small tumour,’ Kris told her saddened relatives, crying down.
Kendall Jenner, 28, and Khloe Kardashian, 39, appear stunned by their mother’s announcement, while Kris’ boyfriend, Corey Gamble, 48, is pictured with his head in hands.
Kylie Jenner, 26, fell into tears, leading her supermodel sister Kendall to rush over and offer her a hug.
The trailer did not reveal any additional information about her health.
The teaser also revealed Kourtney Kardashian, 45,’s medical issues with her now six-month-old son Rocky.
Earlier in her pregnancy, the Poosh founder revealed that she had undergone “urgent foetal surgery,” and her drummer husband Travis Barker cancelled his Blink-182 performances in the UK and Ireland to be by her side.
In the trailer, the cameras appeared to be rolling as Kourtney videocalled her mother to inform her that she needed to undergo emergency surgery.
‘This is really crazy, I just want Kourtney to be OK,’ Kris said, becoming emotional.
Cameras captured Kourtney in the hospital, and she subsequently characterised the scenario as “terrifying.”
In the previous season of the programme, Khloe revealed that a ‘small little dot’ on her face that she mistook for pimples was actually melanoma.
According to the NHS, melanoma is a type of skin cancer that can spread to other areas of the body and the main cause of the disease is ultraviolet light.
Khloe later urged fans to check their bodies in an Instagram post.
Elsewhere The Kardashians season 5 trailer also featured Khloe arguing with Kim about an unnamed topic.
The Good American founder raged: ‘Sisters can be vicious and brutal.’
Meanwhile, Kim savagely remarked: ‘Khloe is unbearable these days.’
The Kardashians season five premieres on May 23 on Disney Plus in the UK.
