Little Women: Atlanta star Ms. Juicy Baby has been released from hospital, where she was being treated in an intensive care unit after suffering a stroke.

The 50-year-old had been taken to hospital last month, as confirmed by Ms. Juicy’s – real name Shirlene Pearson’s – agency.

On May 10, nearly two weeks after she was hospitalised, the agency confirmed that ‘she has been moved out the ICU.’

They added: ‘However, there is a new journey ahead for her healing. We can confirm that Ms Juicy did suffer a stroke.’

The statement added that Ms. Juicy ‘is fighting and ready to go home’, thanking fans for ‘keeping her in their prayers’, and announcing that Ms. Juicy’s sister Tanya created a GoFundMe page.

In an Instagram post shared today, Ms. Juicy has shared a video message to her fans, confirming she is now out of hospital.

‘I am not 100%, but I am still healing,’ the TV star said.

‘I want to say thank you for all of the love and support… and I appreciate y’all being concerned,’ she continued.

In the clips, she outlined that her stroke led to a ‘brain bleed’ which ‘can cause different things for different people,’ but for her, meant that she ‘had to learn how to walk, learn how to talk, learn how to eat, learn how to swallow.’

‘I can’t even really say Ms. Juicy Baby the way I usually say it,’ she added.

Ms. Juicy Baby thanked her fans and her family, highlighting the GoFundMe her sister had launched to help cover medical costs while she was unable to work.

She finished: ‘As you can see, I’m not dead. I’m right here. It might have slowed me down, but I’m here, and I’ll be back at 100% when the time is right. But I can’t push it and I can’t rush it.’

Tearing up, she added: ‘This right here, this is not me, I can’t stay this way too long y’all. So keep praying. We’ll be back real soon. Love you and thank you.’

Ms. Juicy Baby was initially a guest star on the first season of Little Women: Atlanta in 2016, before becoming a full-time cast member in the five seasons since.
