Loose Women’s Coleen Nolan gushes over new man Michael as she makes relationship public: ‘He’s the most laidback guy’

Loose Women’s Coleen Nolan swooned over her new boyfriend Michael Jones on today’s programme.

The 56-year-old presenter, who introduced her partner to the public only yesterday, blushed as she told her co-stars Ruth Langsford, Judi Love, and Janet Street-Porter about her romance.

‘He is the most laid back, calm, takes everything in his stride kinda guy,’ Coleen gushed, as she talked about doing a photoshoot with him to unveil him to the world.

‘It was like he’s always been doing them. I was a nervous wreck. I was the one that was embarrassed, nervous, worried about him.

‘It’s just a strange world to come into and he has just had a very lovely, very normal life.’

Coleen shared that they have been together seven months, but she decided that she wanted to keep Michael out of the limelight for the initial months of their courtship.

‘It’s really helped me and him get to know each other away from all of this,’ she said.

‘Initially, he was so the opposite to anyone I’d ever met before and been out with before,’ Coleen went on to say. ‘Initially, that was freaking me out a bit because… I’m just not used to this.’

Coleen previously revealed that she met 57-year-old Michael, who works in logistics for a supermarket chain, on Tinder.

Their very first date spanned six hours as they got to know each other at the pub.

Coleen admitted that finding love with a new partner was ‘something that I genuinely thought would never happen again’, after divorcing second husband Ray Fensome in 2018.

Getting candid about her sex life being reawakened, she told OK! magazine: ‘It’s just lovely to know that I’m not dead from the waist down! It’s better than ever and it’s all in working order. It’s a fantastic feeling.’

She added: ‘I’ll be sitting there in my pyjamas with no make-up on, swollen eyes and a cold sore and he still looks at me like I’m the best thing since sliced bread.’

Loose Women airs weekdays at 12.30pm on ITV.
