Lorraine Kelly has said sorry to KSI after she pranked him as part of a Saturday Night Takeaway segment last week.

The Scottish broadcaster concerned viewers during an interview with the YouTuber where she freaked out over mice in the studio and complained about pains in her legs.

Following the bizarre interview, Lorraine confirmed that her behaviour had something to do with Ant and Dec and over the weekend, it was revealed that Stephen Mulhern was given free rein to make the presenter follow his orders with naughty cue cards.

Inviting KSI back onto the programme today, Lorraine, 61, apologised profusely.

‘You must have thought I was having a moment. I’m so sorry!’ Lorraine gasped.

‘I was so confused when you had the whole cramp thing and then the mouse,’ replied KSI.

Speaking about the moment she yawned while KSI was telling her about his upcoming tour, she said: ‘As if I’d ever yawn when I’m talking to you!’

‘I just thought you were tired,’ KSI replied. ‘It’s early!’

What a good sport.

KSI wasn’t the only celebrity to be pranked by Stephen for Saturday Night Takeaway.

During Monday’s ITV schedule last week, This Morning hosts Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield also acted peculiarly during James Martin’s cooking segment.

Meanwhile, Loose Women presenter Judi Love was also up to no good during the entirety of the show.

Stephen had a whale of a time controlling the ITV presenters.

‘I was buzzing about it because it had never been done,’ he enthused afterwards. ‘I don’t know of anyone else who would have been allowed to do it. I saw it as an honour.

‘It was like remote-controlling the presenters.’

‘Lorraine’s the queen of daytime and I didn’t want to annoy her,’ he added to The Sun. ‘I give her credit, she really threw herself into it.’

Lorraine airs weekdays from 9am on ITV.
