Lorraine Kelly has officially been made a ‘Lady’ as KSI presented her with surprise paperwork.
The YouTube star turned musician appeared on the ITV series today to discuss his new album, All Over The Place, when talk turned to the moment his fans made him a Lord.
As the presenter joked that she should be bowing in his presence, the 28-year-old actually revealed that he had done the same for her.
Because, why not?
‘The last we were here, we talked about me being a Lord. A fan made me a Lord,’ the star began.
‘So that is why I have decided to make you a Lady, If you check on your seat, there it is. Lord Lorraine!’
The thrilled star then showed off a framed title document, which addressed her as Lady Lorraine Smith, and couldn’t get over the gift.
‘I wish to be known as Lady Lorraine forevermore,’ she replied. ‘You are gorgeous, I can’t believe you’ve got the power to do that for me. Look at that!
‘I’ve even got a crest! So we’re now Lord and Lady. Do you think that will open opportunities for us? I think it probably will!’
The possibilities are endless!
Lorraine – or Lady Lorraine – appeared on her last show for a while as she is set to head on her regular summer break.
Christine Lampard and Ranvir Singh will be filling in while the presenter enjoys her holidays.
Former Strictly Come Dancing star Ranvir shared her excitement at the news, adding: ‘It’s such a privilege to do the show because I’m a massive fan of Lorraine, obviously.
‘She’s so supportive and wonderful. So to be sitting in her seat is just such a lovely moment. I started doing it before Christmas, I feel so at home there and the team is amazing.
‘What I love about doing the show is, because I’m so used to doing such a lot of hard news and politics – and of course Lorraine covers all of the hard stories as well – but it’s a chance for a lighter touch.’
Lorraine continues on weekday mornings, at 9am, on ITV.
