Tonight’s episode of Love Island may deliver one of the most savage dumpings so far, but a new bombshell may be getting ready to make her grand entrance and scramble some heads.

In the upcoming instalment of the ITV show, viewers will find out which two out of the six at-risk singletons have been saved from elimination by their fellow islanders.

While fans can’t wait to find out who will be packing their bags, it seems that’s not the only twist that will be shaking things up in the villa.

Nurse Priya Gopaldas is reportedly waiting in the wings as the latest bombshell to enter the fray, having worked on Covid-19 wards throughout the pandemic.

Priya, 23, is a fifth year medical student at University College London, working on the Covid-19 intensive care unit earlier this year and volunteering in a coronavirus ward after Christmas when students based at the UCL hospital were requested for assistance as cases rose.

A source told MailOnline that Priya ‘will turn heads for sure’, adding: ‘She’s beautiful, intelligent and has a heart of gold. The guys will be scrambling over her if she gets the nod.’

Some of Priya’s latest Instagram posts show her modelling several different bikinis, with a couple of the pictures featuring her basking in the sunshine in what looks like a holiday spot.

The nurse has purportedly been isolating in Mallorca for a week as a safety precaution before arriving in the villa, which could happen later this week.

While volunteering in the Covid ward after Christmas, it’s said that Priya would work 12-hour night shifts six days a week in a department that was understaffed.

Tonight after the savage dumping of four islanders, the contestants left in the villa are going to have a movie night – but they might not be happy about the film of choice.

Rather than the latest Suicide Squad movie, they’ll be shown footage of the islanders’ antics, which could spell trouble for anyone who’s been keeping secrets.

During movie night, the girls will take on the boys in a quiz, with the winning team being granted the chance to pick which movie clip they’d like to see.

This could mean that Liberty Poole will finally find out how Jake Cornish egged the other boys on to pursue new romances in Casa Amor, despite Jake staying loyal to Liberty.

Will any of the couples be sabotaged by the unaired footage? We’d better fetch the popcorn.

ITV declined to comment when contacted by Metro.co.uk.

Love Island returns tonight at 9pm on ITV2 and is available to watch on ITV Hub.
