Chloe gets to know the boys in scenes to air tonight (Picture: ITV)
On Monday’s show, viewers saw this year’s singletons such as Shannon Singh and Hugo Hammond decide who to couple up with but that could all soon change with the shock arrival.
In scenes to air tonight the boys are told to choose one person to go on a date with Chloe, who had already been announced as part of the line-up.
The lads are clearly all keeping their options open despite being in couples already, as they tear up the rule book and decide they all want to get to know her.
Toby delivers the news to the girls at the fire pit, saying: ‘Me and the boys have decided. Chloe’s a new girl. She’s all alone outside. So, we’re going to decide to welcome her in by all of us going and not just choosing one person to go.’
They go on a date with Chloe en masse, where she reveals her ideal type on paper is a gym-goer with tattoos, and she is ‘way more into personality’ than looks.

‘You’re all really handsome and nice to look at so I can’t complain but I don’t know any of you,’ she says.
There’s another twist in store – as the date draws to a close Chloe gets a text which says she has 24 hours to choose a boy to couple up with, which will leave one girl single.

Soon enough crunch time arrives and the new islander must make her decision.
Standing at the fire pit with the other boys and girls, Chloe announces: ‘I would like to couple up with this boy because when I first saw him, I thought he was absolutely gorgeous.
‘Even though we haven’t really spent any time together at all, the time that we did spend was just so fab. The most important thing is you made me feel really comfortable which was my number one thing coming in.’
Who will Chloe decide to couple with? And what will happen to the girl who is left single?
Love Island airs tonight at 9pm on ITV2.
