Love Island is about to welcome Chris Hughes’ ex-girlfriend Mary Bedford to Casa Amor when the dreaded twist returns, according to reports.

Underwear model Mary dated Chris briefly after his long-term relationship with Little Mix’s Jesy Nelson broke down last year.

Now she’s set to shake Love Island up even further when she’s among the girls determined to make the boys’ heads turn when the line-up is split for Casa Amor.

A source told MailOnline: ‘Mary will turn heads, there’s no doubt about that. She’s a model, into her fashion and looks great in a bikini.

‘Even the lads in solid relationships might start to wobble in her company.’

As well as modelling, Mary has carved out a successful career on YouTube with her own channel and already has 185,000 Instagram followers, including ex-Love Islanders Molly Mae Hague and Kaz Crossley.

After Hugo Hammond’s damning speech throwing shade at Toby Aromolaran for dumping Chloe Burrows as part of a ‘test’, it’s hard to imagine how Love Island 2021 will top the drama.

Well, if anything can its Casa Amor, which has a track record of breaking up even the strongest couples.

According to The Sun, for the first time Casa Amor will get its very own Hideaway.

‘Casa Amor is usually the point in the series where drama kicks off as Islanders are tempted by the shiny new contestants,’ an insider told The Sun.

‘Producers throwing a new Hideaway into the mix will heighten temptation to not only shack up with someone but maybe go further.

‘The main Hideaway has seen a little bit of action so far but the new one might get christened even sooner.’

Metro.co.uk has contacted a representative of Love Island for comment on this story.

Love Island continues tonight at 9pm on ITV2.
