Brad McClelland and Lucinda Strafford were left at risk in the public vote (Picture: ITV)
However, it was Brad and Lucinda that received the lowest votes and were left at risk of being dumped.
In a new twist, the shocked couple were told that they would have to decide between them who would leave – and fans reckon they already know the result.
In a Metro.co.uk poll, which asked who fans believe will be next to leave the villa, 71% voted for Brad.
That was compared to just 29% of fans who believe Lucinda will be next out.
It might be a surprise to some, given that Brad was one of the original cast members and one of the former favourites to win, according to the bookies.
In comparison, Lucinda came in as a bombshell alongside Mille Court, who is currently happily coupled up with Liam Reardon.
Brad has previously survived a dumping after being left single in a recoupling along with Chuggs Wallis.
Bombshell Rachel Finni saved him after she had to choose between the boys – but she was later dumped after being left single, with Brad recoupling with Lucinda.
Has Brad had enough or will he fight for his place? Only time will tell.
Elsewhere on last night’s show, Liam and Millie enjoyed a steamy night in the hideaway, while Brad and Lucinda went on a date to chat through their newfound romance.
Things are also about to get tense between Chloe and Toby (Picture: ITV)
While some fans have been pleading with producers to fast-forward to Casa Amor, which will see new islanders descend on Majorca, things look to be getting a bit tense in the current villa, with Chloe describing Toby as ‘fake’ in tonight’s episode.
The results of the public vote seemed to rattle Toby who tells Chloe in upcoming scenes that they are ‘f****d’ because they were not saved by fans.
‘We were down there,’ he says, concerned.
Chloe tells him: ‘Course we are. Why are you surprised? Why are you taking it so personally?’
In the Beach Hut Toby explains: ‘In my eyes, we get on like a house on fire. If that’s not a genuine connection, then I don’t know what is.
‘That means I’m searching for the wrong thing completely. I don’t know how the public hasn’t seen that.’
Chloe is not happy at all and pulling Millie for a chat, she starts dragging Toby.
‘He’s so f*****g fake. I was like, “Why are you surprised, the public aren’t going to love us because of what happened with Kaz”,’ she says.
‘But if it’s genuine, you don’t have to worry. The fact he’s getting all moody with me because we’re bottom three…that is so fake. I’m f*****g livid.’
Safe to say, things are about to get awkward.
Love Island returns to ITV2 tonight at 9pm.
