The couple, who were the first to make things official in the villa, hit a rough patch when Liberty questioned her boyfriend’s motives, and whether he was attracted to her.
This led to her calling off their romance, and taking off the bracelet he gifted her when he asked her to be his girlfriend.
However, while many are applauding the move, some are convinced that they have already reunited, after getting a whopping ‘clue’ from the teaser for this evening’s instalment.
In the very brief clip, Jiberty could be seen walking back into the villa after a romantic date on a yacht, asking their fellow Islanders to gather around the fire pit.
Side note: Millie Court’s reaction to whatever bombshell they drop is iconic.

But eagle-eyed viewers spotted Liberty with what appeared to be Jake’s bracelet back on her wrist, and questioned whether this means a surprise reunion is on the cards.
Running to Twitter to discuss the scene, a fan posted: ‘Nah apparently Lib is wearing the bracelet again in the preview? Surely NOT #LoveIsland.’
Another questioned: ‘Waittt I know we all think Jake and Lib have decided to leave tomorrow, but isn’t this Jakes bracelet back on Liberty’s hand when the come back from their date??? #LoveIsland [sic].’
‘Well the bracelets back on so they got back together #LoveIsland,’ one deduced.
‘Tell me that’s not the bracelet Jake gave her back on her wrist #loveisland,’ a follower commented.
While a Twitter user suggested it could actually be a hair tie, adding: ‘Hmm is that the white bracelet I see or a bobble? #loveisland #LoveIslandUK.’
Earlier in the episode, Liberty confirmed that she was ending things with Jake, who she has been coupled up with since the very first day of the competition.
‘I just don’t feel like you love me for me and I want someone who loves me for me,’ she initially said.
‘I feel like I can do anything right. I don’t want to continue this feeling like I have to change for anyone.’
In a later chat, she added: ‘I just don’t feel like, if I’m being honest, that you love me for me and I want someone that loves me for me.
‘That’s how I feel. That’s not saying you’re a bad person, because you’re not, that’s not saying I’m a bad person, but maybe I’m just not right for you.’
‘I hope you find someone that suits you better.’
Love Island continues daily, at 9pm, on ITV2.
