Millie Court and Liam Reardon made history when they won this year’s Love Island, becoming the first bombshell couple to take the crown.

However, while we watched their turbulent love story unfold in the villa, it emerged that their romance could have started years before – when sleuths discovered that Milliam were both in the same bar in Ibiza in 2018, just a few days apart.

In fact, some were convinced that she was actually in the background of his photos at the time – something that Liam has poured ice cold water on.

Taking part in a Q&A session on Instagram, the 22-year-old was asked: ‘Was Millie actually in that pic of you in Ibiza 3 years ago?’

‘Not sure who it is but it’s definitely not Millie,’ he replied.

So that’s that, then.

Millie and Liam had a rocky time of it on their path to the Love Island win, when the boys were shipped off to Casa Amor.

Despite having a solid romance, the bricklayer soon grew close to Lillie Haynes, with the pair kissing before he changed his mind and returned to the original villa solo.

He soon made it up to Millie and the pair reunited, and they became official during a chat with Laura Whitmore in the finale.

Discussing whether they will be taking the next step and moving in together, after spending weeks together in Majorca, they vowed that this is definitely on the cards.

‘I love where I’m from but I would like to venture off and move to somewhere new and Essex seems like the perfect place really,’ Liam said after their victory.

‘I know some of the boys who were in the villa we got on so well and they mentioned moving in together and they’d like to move to Essex so that’s something I would definitely be considering and that’s my plan really, moving to Essex.

‘Millie and I will move in together eventually. We’ve been living together in the villa together for the past 7/8 weeks.

‘We don’t want to jump into living together straight away because we don’t want to add too much pressure.’

Millie agreed: ‘We haven’t been away from each other yet to miss each other and do those things that you do in normal relationships.

‘The one thing I want to make sure is that we still stay as strong as we are now.’
