Love Island’s Shannon Singh returned to Instagram today, urging her followers to ‘be kind’.

The 23-year-old model was the first contestant to be booted out of the villa after just two days with many fans speculating she’ll be back on the show for a twist.

After former islander Amy Hart revealed Shannon would get her phone back within 24 hours should her exit be official, it was all eyes on Instagram.

Shannon used her first post to encourage viewers to think about their messages after Chloe Burrows received death threats for coupling up with Francis, subsequently booting Shannon out of the villa.

‘IM BACK EVERYONE!’ she wrote, alongside a bikini snap.

‘I cannot believe the amount of support I’ve received I love every single one of you!!

‘Thank you to my best friend for life @rubykellll for running my socials whilst I was gone- gutted but SO grateful for the opportunity. Everyone please #bekind ?.’

Shannon’s first post since leaving the villa comes after Chloe received a barrage of vile messages, which were shared by the 25-year-old’s family on social media.

Love Island subsequently released another warning to viewers, in a fresh statement, which read: ‘We want Love Island to be a positive experience for all our cast and their friends and family members.

‘Last night’s episode created strong reactions but some viewers’ posts were wholly unacceptable. We take these matters extremely seriously and will support cast members and their families in reporting such posts.’

Love Island continues tonight at 9pm on ITV2.
