Brad McClelland has already made waves in the Love Island villa, after turning the heads of several female contestants as he made his debut.

The 26-year-old, one of five male Islanders to join the cast of the 2021 series as it began, has coupled up with fellow contestant Faye Winter following the initial round of match-ups – but of course it’s early days in the series yet.

He previously admitted he was definitely looking forward to a summer holiday on the show, as he admitted: ‘Who wouldn’t want to be in a nice villa in a hot country for a while?’

Brad also has a type, as he admitted his top celebrity crushes are Sommer Ray, Zara McDermott and Megan Fox.

But what else do we know about him?

Here’s everything you need to know…

Who is Brad McClelland and what’s his Instagram?

Brad loves going to the gym, and he considers himself pretty sociable as he prefers dating in-person compared to online romancing.

He said: ‘I want to date face-to-face, I like meeting people. I’m easy going, laid back. Who wouldn’t want to be in a nice villa in a hot country for a while?’

If you want to keep up with him on Instagram – including his workouts, shirtless snaps and photos out hiking – his handle is brad_mcclell.

What does Brad from Love Island work as?

Brad is a labourer from Northumberland, although he admitted he can be a bit workshy.

Asked how his fellow workers would describe him, he said: ‘I try and make as much money as I can by doing as little as possible.

‘They’d probably say – not lazy, as I’m energetic – I just try to get away with doing literally nothing.’

We’ll see how that goes down in the villa!

When is Love Island on?

The new series airs on ITV2 at 9pm every night of the week except Saturday – when the highlights show Love Island: Unseen Bits will air instead.
