The date for the last episode of Winter Love Island 2023 has reportedly been disclosed, and it is fast approaching.
Following the arrival of bombshell Claudia Fogarty, who has taken a like to Casey O’Gorman and Tom Clare, the tension has been heating up in the villa in South Africa this week.
However, it appears that the islanders only have a few weeks to establish strong enough relationships to win the coveted £50,000 at the end of the line.
According to a source, the ITV2 series’ ending date would be towards the beginning of next month.
‘There was concern that the current series would only continue for six weeks because that was the pattern for the inaugural Winter Love Island trip in 2020,’ the insider told The Sun.
‘By the same token, there was talk last year that the summer series could be extended as ratings were so impressive thanks to the likes of Ekin-Su and Davide.’
However, they noted that executives want to keep to the customary eight-week timeline, which means that the winners will supposedly be announced on Monday, March 13.
‘That gives the Islanders just four weeks to get their act together and find love,’ they say.
While the participants may be considering making it all the way to the end of the line, their time in the villa is scheduled to end tonight.
Last night’s show confirmed that another recoupling ceremony is on the way, which means that one lady will be sent out of the villa after the males select who they want to marry.

Meanwhile, Ron Hall and Shaq Muhammad, who were previously involved in an incident, are likely to clash once more.
In a sneak peek for Thursday’s episode, it was shown that Shaq becomes quite furious when he notices Ron not assisting with the kitchen cleanup.
‘No, really, come on. Can you get up and have your conversation later because we’re all washing up and cleaning? ‘Come and clean; we’re all in this together,’ he jokes.
How will Ron respond to being called out for not mucking in?
Love Island returns tonight at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
