Peta has slammed Love Island star Will Young ahead of his impending time on the winter series.
The 23-year-old, who was just revealed as one of this year’s show’s stars, is well-known for vlogging his daily life on a Buckinghamshire farm to over one million people.
Will posts videos of himself shearing sheep, rescuing animals from muddy pools, sowing seeds, and constructing pig cages – all while shirtless and bronzed from his active lifestyle.
In one of his most recent movies, he filmed himself assisting prolapsed sheep on the family farm, and in another, he assisted a sheep giving birth after the head and hooves were caught.
Will has previously addressed the death threats he received as a result of the content’s vividness.
‘It was just two hooves and a head, pull it out, job done. I’d never have got the camera out for a situation I wasn’t in control of,’ he told Financial Times.
According to reports, Animal rights organisation Peta shared the content in question writing: ‘This farmer is a disgusting creep. He’s dancing over her body as she gives birth.’
Maya Jama, 28, is expected to make her ITV2 debut on the show when the winter series begins in South Africa on January 16, and she has already arrived in Cape Town.

The official cast of 2023 was revealed on Monday, and Will hopes that his stint on the show will ‘give him time away from the farm to go and find love.’
Speaking of his imminent appearance on the nation’s TV screens, the budding reality star said: ‘Having grown up on a farm, it’s been quite difficult juggling relationships and work.
‘I think I’m at the time of my life where I’m mature enough to go and find a wife.’
Will addressed his spiritual side and how he’ll find inner quiet if the villa gets too much for him, providing more insight into the type of character viewers may expect to meet.
Love Island returns on Monday January 16 at 9pm on ITV2.
