Love Island’s Millie Court couldn’t resist taking a dig at Lillie Haynes during the live reunion show last night.
Millie and Liam Reardon were invited on the Aftersun sofa to chat about their relationship after exiting the villa as winners when host Laura Whitmore brought out Lillie.
The three were part of the biggest drama of the series when Liam kissed Lillie in Casa Amour but ultimately decided to stick with Millie.
While the couple somehow managed to patch things up, fans were hoping that Lillie’s return would bring about some major drama.
And it definitely confirmed there is still some underlying tension between the two girls.
After Lillie admitted she is genuinely happy for Millie and Liam and rooted for the ‘picture perfect couple’, Laura prodded her to find out what her current relationship status is.
Laura first questioned Lillie about photos of her with footballer Jack Grealish, to which the former islander denied there being any romantic involvement.
Then the host asked about what is going on between her and fellow Casa Amour star Jack Barlow, which Lillie laughed off as Jack, also in the studio, couldn’t help but look a bit uncomfortable.
Failing to read the awkwardness in the room, Laura then suggested that Lillie and Jack go on a double date with Millie and Liam.
Liam laughed at the proposition, only saying: ‘Yeah’ while a not so enthralled Millie added: ‘Why not?’
Lillie tried to ease the tension, adding: ‘Maybe a few tequila shots we’ll get there.’
Millie did not let the chance go by to take a dig at her former rival staring straight at her and delivering a deadpan response: ‘Or 100.’
‘That’s a bit far! Come on,’ added Lillie as Millie realised her involuntary swipe and bent over laughing.
Viewers watching at home could not help but laugh with the trio and shared their reactions on Twitter.
‘LOL at millie saying she’d need 100 shots to see lillie again love her, commented one fan.
Another viewer wrote: Millie said 100 shots! Hahahah.’
‘100 shots? Millie had 1 shot and she fired it,’ wrote a third person.
Others were also annoyed by Laura’s insistence over this drama while Lillie, Millie and Liam all seemed to be over it.
‘Not Laura suggesting that Liam and Millie have drinks with Lillie,’ tweeted another viewer while someone else penned: ‘Liam, Millie and Lillie are clearly cringing and awkward Laura move on.’
Love Island is available to watch on ITV Hub.
