Montana Brown, a Love Island and Celebrity SAS star, was left worried ill when her infant boy was taken to the hospital.
In June of this year, the reality star, 27, welcomed six-month-old Jude with boyfriend Mark O’Connor.
And this week, the new mother experienced a parent’s worst fear when her kid was involved in an accident and had to be transported to A&E.
Montana, who admitted she was suffering from ‘the greatest parent guilt of my life,’ stated the child had ‘launched himself off the kitchen counter’ where he had been resting in a baby lounger.
In just ‘five seconds’ Jude had fallen from the counter ‘and landed on the hard times’.
The terrified mum instantly rushed him to A&E, thanking Jude’s aunt and uncle for coming along with her, and while he ‘seems absolutely fine’ he has ‘a big mark on the front of his head.’
‘Did I cry my eyes out? Yes. Will I be scared to put him down without wrapping him in pillows… YES.’
She explained her son had recently been ‘moving way more and so curious to try fling himself off everything even [in] my arms he is launching his body backwards so that’s fun.’
‘But still feeling sick to my stomach that it happened tbh, turned around to get my porridge out of the microwave and as I turne back saw him launch himself backwards.’
While acknowledging ‘I know these things happen’ she said hearing his ‘first proper cry went through me.’
Along with the tragic remark, Montana posted a photo to her social media accounts of her young child being held by his aunt in the hospital.
Montana and her partner Mark had their first child, Jude, last summer after battling with infertility and consulting with a reproductive specialist.
She assumed it would be’really simple’ for her and her boyfriend to get pregnant because they are both young, but ‘I’d do a pregnancy test and it’d be negative.’
She described it as’so heartbreaking’ to have the same result month after month on Giovanna Fletcher‘s Happy Mum Happy Baby podcast, saying they were tested and everything was normal – and when she did fell pregnant, she was certain her symptoms were caused by food poisoning.
The pair announced Jude’s arrival on Instagram, adding, ‘we’re so smitten with you little man.’
