A Love Island member has departed the All Stars spin-off series, which premiered on ITV just days ago, according to reports.
The star-studded series began on Monday evening, with previous islanders Liberty Poole, Kaz Kamwi, and Chris Taylor returning to the villa to be greeted by host Maya Jama.
Liberty was astonished when shortly after making her entrance, her ex Jake Cornish also entered the villa, before they discovered out that evening that the public had voted to couple them up.
Jake has reportedly quit the series following their surprise reunion.
‘Jake was really shocked to see Liberty in the villa – they had no idea the other person would be there,’ a source told The Sun.
‘It was clear from the start they wouldn’t get back together, then none of the girls wanted to step forward for him.
According to the insider, the reality star had an emotional conversation with Maya about his feelings.
‘Jake had a nice three days in the villa and had a very emotional chat to Maya Jama,’ they said.
‘Jake couldn’t stay in the villa so he quit the show – it’s not his time and it’s not the right time to find love.’
In addition to Liberty and Jake, the other couples that were voted for by the public on the first episode of Love Island: All Stars were: Hannah Elizabeth and Anton Danyluk; Demi Jones and Chris; Georgia Harrison and Luis Morrison; Georgia Steel and Toby Aromolaran; and Kaz and Mitchel Taylor.
At the conclusion of the show, former island Callum Turner appeared as a fresh bombshell, shocking viewers.
However, the surprise grew when Molly Smith appeared seconds later as a bombshell.
The major twist: Callum and Molly met on Love Island and were in a three-year relationship before parting up lately.
Jake has yet to speak out on social media regarding his rumoured departure.
Love Island: All Stars returns tonight at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
