These pictures will make you do a double take because we can’t believe the transformation of Love Island star Anna Vakili.
The reality star appeared on the ITV dating show in 2019 and repeatedly wowed viewers with her stunning looks.
At the time, Anna sported long, brunette locks, a tanned complexion, full lips, and was never not in full glam.
Fast forward to 2024, however, and she looks worlds away from her Love Island self.
Anna, now aged 33, regularly shares high-fashion pics with her 1.2million Instagram followers.
In her recent shots, the media personality has blonde tresses, which she often styles in bouncy curls or a chic up do.
Anna looks to have had her lighter hair for some years, but she did momentarily return to her roots (pun intended) in May 2021.
Wearing a wig, she posed for a selfie with the jokey caption: ‘This wig got me looking like Anna from Love Island 🤣’
In terms of style, the social media sensation enjoys keeping up with the latest trends, whether it’s figure-hugging gowns with sexy cut-outs that highlight her curves or a wacky swimsuit set.
Anna’s material focuses on fashion, beauty, and travel, since she enjoys travelling to warmer places and soaking up the sun with her girlfriends.
After Love Island, Anna, also known as the British equivalent of Kim Kardashian, works as a chemist, putting her master’s degree to good use.
In fact, she already stated that influence was negatively impacting her mental health.
Anna and her sister Mandi co-host the successful podcast Sisters In The City, but she has decided to return to work part-time as a chemist.
She did so at the height of the pandemic, saying at the time: ‘It was so weird going back and almost felt like the whole show didn’t happen and that was all a dream.
‘It was so scary at the time because Covid was at its peak. It was just something I felt I had to do. It was just nice to help out at a time when everyone was in need.’
Anna also revealed that she always planned to ‘dip in and out’.
In a more recent interview, Anna stuck to her word.
‘It played on my mind that I’d studied so hard to be a pharmacist and I wasn’t using it, and forgetting everything I’d learned,’ Anna said.
After just a couple of months, she already felt brighter.
‘I feel so much better mentally, I’m enjoying keeping my brain ticking and being back in the job.’
Anna, who had studied for five years to become a chemist, was overwhelmed when she left the villa and was presented with chance after opportunity.

She’s now enjoying being back in a 9-5 schedule some of the time while running her podcast and doing social media work on the side.
‘Being an influencer, you don’t really have a routine unless you are really disciplined, and I’m not,’ she told Closer.
‘I can be a bit lazy, sometimes I wouldn’t go to bed until 5am and then get up at 2pm and try to squeeze all my content-making into one day.
‘I didn’t like not having a routine and it affected my mental health massively, I felt like I didn’t have enough of a purpose.’
