Viewers of Love Island couldn’t help but scoff when yet another analogy was used to describe sexy bedroom antics.
In the episode that aired on Tuesday, Tanya Manhenga admitted that she and Shaq Muhammad had gotten a little X-Rated.
‘So guys, last night Shaq and I had a let’s just say a football warm up,’ she said.
‘Did both players get a warm up?’ asked Olivia Hawkins.
‘No just the one,’ Tanya replied.
‘I’m ready to start the game, but I like where the pitch is looking from where I’m standing.’

It’s safe to say that fans are growing weary of the references after last year’s “beauty salon” and the year before that’s “NVQ” levels.
‘I genuinely have no idea what a warm up is supposed to be as an analogy. Can we just speak like adults it’s past 9pm,’ one person fumed.
‘How do the islanders decide what analogy they’re using for the bedroom stuff every year . Like do they have a meeting or something,’ another added.
‘And here we witness the creation of this years analogy for sex,’ a third person tweeted.
The boys famously established the “Do Bits Society” during season four, so using a code to discuss bedroom antics is nothing new.
Former islander Chloe Burrows previously spoke up about the sex-talk protocols, noting that they avoided discussing sex openly ‘since it’s not PornHub’.
‘I feel like ITV don’t want to promote it [sex], but you [the audience] want to know about it, so it’s a nice way of doing it,’ she told Heat.
In 2021, the girls used the ‘NVQ levels’ code to exchange pillow talk tales, with ‘graduation’ referring to going all the way.
Love Island continues tomorrow at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
