Love Island presenter Laura Whitmore has been absent from the villa for some time, with confused viewers questioning her whereabouts.

The 36-year-old television personality is hosting the current series of the ITV2 dating show with her husband, comedian Iain Stirling, who has resumed his position as narrator.

So far, Laura has made one trip into the famous compound, having welcomed the first batch of contestants last month.

This year’s chapter is now in full swing, with Tuesday night’s episode delivering a savage bombshell as it was revealed Lucinda Strafford and Brad McClelland will decide who, out of Chloe Burrows and Toby Aromolaran, and Sharon Gaffka and Hugo Hammond, will leave the villa.

So, where is Laura at and when will she next be strutting into our lives?

When will Laura Whitmore next appear in the Love Island Villa?

Laura usually travels back and forth to Majorca to make an appearance for re-couplings in the villa before jumping on a plane back to the UK for the spin-off show Aftersun.

As it stands, the host’s next appearance on Love Island remains under wraps, with television insiders telling us that her arrival will be kept a surprise for the Islanders and viewers as the show progresses.

They also added that the presenter’s entrance isn’t ever set in stone.

Laura and her partner Iain Stirling, who narrates the ITV2 dating show, welcomed their first child, a daughter named Stevie, in April.

She recently shared that she will be taking her baby girl with her when she jets between London and Majorca to enter the villa.

Iain, 33, is staying in London to record his voiceovers while Laura’s mum will join her in Spain to help look after the newborn when she works.

Love Island airs tonight at 9pm on ITV2.
