Adam Collard has confirmed he and Paige Thorne are still going strong after leaving the Love Island villa.
Adam, 26, was the first Love Island contestant to ever make a return as an islander after he previously entered the villa in 2018.
While fans weren’t convinced he would change his bad boy ways, he soon ended up becoming smitten with paramedic Paige, 24, after her love interest Jacques O’Neill, 23, quit the show.
The pair ended up coming in fifth place on this year’s series, just missing out on a spot in the final four.
However, eagle-eyed fans have already been asking whether there’s trouble in paradise after the pair seemed to go their separate ways when returning home.
During a Q&A session on Instagram, one fan asked: ‘Are you and Paige still together?’
He quickly reassured fans, revealing: ‘I bl**dy hope so since I’m seeing her tomorrow. Course we are, I can’t wait just family comes first x.’
While Adam shared snaps of himself posing at the gym, Paige attended the Love Island wrap party alone, without her new beau.
The duo are from opposite ends of the UK, with Adam hailing from Newcastle, while Paige is based in Swansea.
After leaving the show, Paige revealed they were already making solid plans for the future, despite the distance between them.
She said: ‘We’re going strong. We have done since day one. We’ve already made plans.
‘He’s coming to see me in Swansea and I’m going to Newcastle. We’re already talking about holidays and Christmas plans. I definitely see a future.’
When Adam was probed on whether he would be willing to move to Wales, he admitted: ‘I don’t know what the moving situation is – I think I need to pitch her Newcastle very, very well.
‘I’m really excited to go and see her family. I’m just excited to go and do all the fun things with her. I want to go on dates.
‘It’s weird, I feel like we’re dating but we’re so far past that. We have really got something good here. I just want to run with it to be honest. I see her in my future and I think she feels the same. We’re going to make it work.’
Love Island can be streamed in full on ITV Hub now.
