Brad McClelland will be heading into the Love Island villa in hopes of finding love, and he went under a complete body makeover before his arrival.

The cast for this year’s upcoming series has been unveiled today (June 21), and Brad can’t wait to be chilling in the sun in Majorca.

The 26-year-old is a labourer from Northumberland that loves going to the gym, and he considers himself pretty sociable.

According to reports, there were rumours he was planning to fly to the villa last year before the series was cancelled due to Covid.

It took him just over two months to get ripped and now he can finally show off all of this hard work.

All those hours at the gym and on the construction site have certainly paid off if his photos are anything to go by.

He captioned the photos: ‘Well the last 10 weeks have been hard but been well worth it! @aestheticallytrained proving again that his programming is top class! #training.’

While his initial transformation took place in 2019, Brad seems to have been keeping up the hard work, as he has uploaded a variety of gym selfies to Instagram.

Former Love Island contestant Amber Gill even seems to be a fan, as she commented the words ‘Super cute’ on a photo of Brad.

He’s definitely looking forward to a summer holiday, as he admitted: ‘Who wouldn’t want to be in a nice villa in a hot country for a while?’

Asked how his fellow workers would describe him, he said: ‘I try and make as much money as I can by doing as little as possible.

‘They’d probably say – not lazy, as I’m energetic – I just try to get away with doing literally nothing.’

We’ll see how that goes down in the villa!

The new series kicks off on June 28 on ITV2.
