George Fensom, the first Love Island participant to be thrown out of the island this season, has returned to social media.
Whitney Adebayo was forced to choose between George and Medhy Malanda after a dramatic recoupling left one male solo, and eventually sent George on his way.
The 24-year-old business development executive is back on the phone and has thanked fans for their support following his brief appearance on the reality dating show.
George, who faced controversy from reports ahead of entering Love Island, said: ‘Shout out everyone sending me nice messages, kind support and that, do appreciate it.
He continued: ‘Left the villa too soon, but do you know what I was obviously just too leng.
‘But yeah obviously appreciate all the support, thank you for all the messages and yeah just give me a couple of days just to sort my bits out and I will get replying and we will talk about plans moving forward. Bosh.’

The actor was wearing sunglasses and soaking in the rays as he shot the video from the back of an Addison Lee cab.
Following his leaving, the novice reality star stated that his time on the show had been “a blast.”
He also pondered on his pairing with Jess Harding, who acknowledged she’d always have a’soft place’ for him and will miss his ‘banter’ and ‘dad jokes’ after the public matched them up on launch day.
‘Jess is an absolutely lovely girl but it felt more like a friendship. Jess and I were always cracking banter and having the best time. I just don’t think there was anything there romantically, but that’s completely fair enough,’ he said.

‘If it was up to me to choose on day one, I would’ve definitely gone for Molly Marsh, she’s such a good-looking girl.’
‘It’s no secret that all the girls in there are so beautiful and I feel like I did the best I could, I tried to build connections but I’m glad I stayed true to myself,’ he added.
‘I didn’t want to force a connection just for the sake of it.’
Although his Love Island experience was brief, George described it as “the finest thing I’ve ever done.”
‘I’ve loved every minute of it. It’s been so much fun and the most amazing experience from start to finish.’
Love Island continues tonight at 9pm on ITV2.
