Liberty Poole may meet her match in her Dancing On Ice partner as the reality star has teased they’re as ‘bubbly’ as she is.
The celebrities are yet to find out which professional skater they’ll be partnered with but Liberty, 22, has a pretty good idea.
Speaking to Metro.co.uk to celebrate her new role as a Skinny Dip ambassador, Liberty said: ‘I find out my partner next week, I don’t know who it is yet but I’ve always liked Matt Evers, I’ve always watched him on the show for years.
‘To be honest, there’s no one that I really dislike so anyone I’m partnered with, I wouldn’t mind because I think they’re all so talented.’
She added: ‘I don’t know yet but apparently they’re super bubbly like me so hopefully they’ll be good.’
‘Bubbly’ sounds a whole lot like Matt Evers to us…
Liberty revealed the DOI training in Birmingham has been ‘intense’ so far and she’s had a few tumbles in front of judges Christopher Dean and Jayne Torvill.
‘[I fall] literally all the time,’ she admitted. ‘When I met Chris and Jayne I fell over a couple of times in front [of them] and the other day, I was trying to do a crossover forward and I completely tumbled straight, flat but luckily I sort of glided into it.’
‘I’m not usually graceful but we do try,’ she joked.
Liberty has been getting along great with some of the other celebs, including Corrie’s Sally and Kimberley Wyatt, the latter of whom she predicts will be big competition.
‘I think Kimberley Wyatt’s going to be phenomenal because she’s just such a good dancer and flexible so I think she’ll be so good,’ she said.
‘I think there’s so many talented people this year that come from different sporty or dancing backgrounds that is probably going to be one of the toughest competitions yet.’
Liberty’s partnership with Skinny Dip is just the latest in a growing line of brand endorsement deals she’s bagged since leaving the Love Island villa this summer.
Sharing her tanning faux pas, she recalled: ‘In the past I’ve got green and because I live on my own so I’ve got no one to tan my back, so I’ve used a hairbrush and it was always awkward.
‘But [the Skinny Dip collection] fixes all these problems, they do a backhand mitt and every product of theirs also has a benefiting element so it’s not just tan, it’s actually good for your skin as well like moisturising, all these health benefits is why I chose to work with them.’
Dancing On Ice is set to air early 2022 on ITV.
Liberty Poole is Skinny Tan’s new brand ambassador, working with the brand to promote body confidence with tanning products which are filled with skin-loving ingredients to provide a flawless, streak-free tan.
