Lucinda has some famous fans (Picture: ITV)
It seems Lucinda Strafford isn’t short of a bevy of famous fans following her time on Love Island, as she revealed one very famous Netflix star slid into her DMs.
The reality star, 21, was booted from the villa alongside Aaron Francis, 24, in dramatic scenes pre-Casa Amor and appearing on Capital Breakfast with Roman Kemp this week she dissected life outside the ITV2 show.
After confirming she and Aaron were no longer together, after being coupled up on the series at the time of their exit, and that she was still tight with Brad McClelland, 26 – who she was coupled up with before his booting from the show – talk turned to her inbox.
When asked by host Roman if anyone famous had messaged her, Lucinda claimed: ‘An actor from Stranger Things, I’m trying to think what his name is…’
Helping her along, Brad chimed in: ‘The kid that gets taken in Stranger Things.’
When they finally worked out it was Will Byers actor Noah Schnapp Lucinda said: ‘He’s so lovely! I think he’s like 16 and he was like “I love you” and I was like “I love you!”
‘I don’t know who you are but…’
We shouldn’t be surprised seeing as Noah has already made it clear he’s a fan of Love Island, previously revealing he watched the show alongside his co-star Millie Bobby Brown.
Writing beneath a shot of Ellie Brown, who starred on the 2018 season, Noah wrote: ‘I watch u with Millie,’ while he also wrote ‘Hi’ under a photo showing Ellie with Zara McDermott.
Dani Dyer also previously revealed Millie slid into her DMs, sharing her support after watching her on the show. We love this penchant for DM-sliding the Stranger Things cast has.
It wasn’t just Lucinda copping the DMs, though, with Brad claiming he’d had ‘thousands’ of messages from girls. Aaron also wasn’t left out as he boasted that Jedward had sent him a voicenote, which, frankly, is the most impressive DM-sliding of all, in our humble opinion.
Elsewhere in the chat, Lucinda was quizzed on her current relationship status, after she moved onto Aaron after Brad’s exit.
She said: ‘Right let’s just clear this a little bit.
‘Brad left obviously, I had a couple days, I was very upset, you can tell I was upset can’t you?
‘I was crying, I was awful, and then obviously, when at the start when I came in, there was a situation going on also with Aaron and Hugo as well.
‘I don’t know if you guys saw that, and I was like, “let’s see if Aaron still fancies me” and then we ended up sort of rekindling things, these things happen.’
