One of the stars of Love, Victor has hinted at the direction season 2 as it launches on Star on Disney Plus, teasing that fans can expect ‘drama’ and ‘love triangles’ coming their way.
Love, Victor, which is set in the same movie universe as the 2018 film Love, Simon, stars Michael Cimino as the titular character, a student who in season one is struggling with his identity surrounding his sexual orientation.
The final episode sees him come out as gay to his parents, having previously been in a relationship with his classmate, Mia (Rachel Hilson).
Isabella Ferreira, who plays Victor’s younger sister Pilar, recently spoke to Metro.co.uk about the upcoming new episodes, hinting at the twists and turns that are to come.
In addition to warning that there will be plenty of ‘drama’, Isabella added that viewers will also be given a closer look at her character’s love life.
After revealing that fans are ‘definitely going to see a lot more’ of Pilar’s ‘friend life and love life’, the 18-year-old added a fascinating tidbit of information.

‘There’s a lot of drama, a lot of tea, so everyone should be expecting a lot of love triangles as well,’ she said. So who could she be referring to?

Bebe Wood, who plays Mia’s best friend Lake, also hinted at her character’s development in the latest season.
When asked by Metro.co.uk whether she hopes Love, Victor will continue on past season two, she replied: ‘I have so many hopes and dreams and wishes. All of which I’m not sure I can divulge.’
Nonetheless, the 19-year-old then added: ‘I will say, Lake grows up a lot this season and I cannot wait to see her continuing to grow up.’
Anthony Turpel, who plays Victor’s neighbour and close friend Felix, said he ‘would be ecstatic working with my friends again’. As would we be!
In season one of the show, Victor eventually gets to meet Simon (Nick Robinson) face to face, after privately messaging him about his experiences at school with his new friends.
Considering there may be the possibility of Love, Victor and Love, Simon crossing over more in future, Isabella said it ‘would be amazing’ if she could share a scene with Simon’s younger sister, Nora (Talitha Bateman).
Love, Victor season two is streaming on Star on Disney Plus from Friday June 18.
