In an exclusive clip shared with Metro.co.uk, the reality star confides in pal Jamie Laing about not wanting to end things with the former Love Island contestant after she cheated on him while they were together.
Looking as though he’s about to burst into tears, a heartbroken Sam opens up and says: ‘Mate it’s so tough because I f***ing… she was the one mate, she was the one. I don’t know if I’ve got the strength to bin it.’
‘You don’t know if you’ve got the strength to bin it?’ a stunned Jamie replies.
‘I just don’t know if I do,’ Sam utters.
‘No, no, no, no,’ Jamie hits back. ‘Hang on a second. You don’t think you’ve got the strength to say see you later? If it was me and I was in your situation, she’d be done.’
He then delivers a stellar prediction of what will go down when Sam comes face-to-face with Zara.
‘Listen, she’s gonna cry, it’s going to be awful, you’re going to be hurt, you’re both going to be sad, she’s going to tell you how much she loves you which she does, she’s going to say it was a big mistake, it will never happen, I didn’t mean it,’ Jamie says.
‘She’s going to say all these things, your heart is going to melt. I almost want to put my head in your brain because you’re one of the worst people in these situations – like I am – because you’re going to feel like you’re stepping on a puppy.’
Jamie insists: ‘But you have to remember the betrayal you received, the lies that have happened, the deceit, the fact this could easily happen again.’
Not convinced he’ll be okay letting go of the relationship, a devastated Sam comments: ‘I can’t be alone’, prompting Jamie to remind him of all the friends he has to lean on to get him through.
Earlier this month, Zara shared a montage of romantic moments with her ex Sam calling him ‘the love of my life’.
It came just days after she posted a public apology addressing her infidelity.
Made In Chelsea airs tonight at 9pm on E4.
