Madonna ensured her appearance on Thursday’s The Tonight Show was one to remember after she flashed Jimmy Fallon and his audience.
The iconic hitmaker was on the late-night talk show to promote her new documentary, Madame X, when she decided to get into some ‘good trouble’.
The interview started with the standard type of interaction as the 63-year-old told the host how she wanted her project to help viewers understand that ‘art is important in our lives’.
Madonna then went on to quote influential writer James Baldwin as she stated: ‘Artists are here to disturb the peace.
‘And so, I hope that I have disturbed not only your peace this afternoon but people’s peace while they watch the show, but I mean that in the best way.’
When Fallon, 47, responded, ‘Oh yeah, you get in good trouble’, the Vogue singer decided to prove just how much trouble she can get into.
The Like A Virgin singer suddenly climbed onto the comedian’s desk and pushed his coffee mug aside so she could lie across on her stomach.
Jimmy was seen laughing in shock and freaking out as he repeatedly yelled, ‘Stop it!’
The host then tried to cover up Madonna with his suit jacket to no avail but she brushed him off and stated, ‘No one’s going to see anything, my God!’
At which point, the Holiday turned her back to the audience and lifted up her skirt to flash the audience.
After returning to her seat she told Jimmy: ‘Life is not just about interviewing kiddies. Don’t you want to talk to an adult? Let’s have an adult conversation.’
Madame X is available to stream on Paramount Plus in the US and airs on MTV at 10pm tonight (October 8) in the UK.
