Married At First Sight stars Deonna McNeill and Greg Okotie welcome first baby: ‘We’re so blessed’

Married At First Sight stars Deonna McNeill and Greg Okotie have welcomed their first child together, saying that they’re now ‘trying to get used to our new normal’.

In 2019, Deonna and Greg starred on the ninth season of Married At First Sight in the US, their initial match proving successful with their relationship going from strength to strength.

The couple went on to appear on Married At First Sight: Couples Cam, providing fans with a further insight into the inner workings of their relationship.

Two years on from their nuptials, Deonna and Greg are happy to announce they are now a family of three, with Deonna giving birth to their son, Declan Okotie, on Saturday.

In a post shared on Instagram, Deonna wrote: ‘Over the weekend our little bundle of joy entered the world after a long 36 hours of labor! Say hello to Declan Okotie aka Baby O. We love him so much already!

‘Thank you for all of the well wishes and blessings. Everyone is doing great and getting adjusted to our new normal. Sandy ABSOLUTELY loves her brother,’ she wrote, referencing their pet dog Sandy.

Greg was full of praise for Deonna, saying that he doesn’t understand how she ‘dealt with the pain’ of labour.

‘Our little man has arrived! Everyone meet Declan Okotie!’ he wrote on Instagram.

‘He came into the world over the weekend and it was a journey (36 hrs of labor). I don’t know how Deonna dealt with all of that pain for so long but she did and I’m beyond happy, proud, and in awe of her!!

Deonna and Greg are undoubtedly one of the biggest success stories of Married At First Sight, with the series often plagued with drama, break-ups and tumultuous relationships.

UK fans have been enraptured by the Australian version of the show, which has had an explosive sixth season airing on E4.
