Married At First Sight UK: Has another couple quit as Nikita is thrown off show?

There may be another shock exit in store on Married At First Sight UK has the couples are reunited at a dinner party to give an update on how their relationships are going.

As they sit around chatting and drinking, Morag suddenly spots that two of their number, Daniel and Matt, are not with them.

Stopping the conversation, she said: ‘Where’s Daniel and Matt? They should have been here by now.’

Tayah says: ‘I reckon they’re gone, they’ve left. They’ve deffo left.’

Morag and Luke discussed the situation, with Luke saying: ‘I love Matt and I hear a lot of good things about Dan as well.’

‘I just hope they turn up, but it’s not good news though,’ he adds.

‘I love Daniel so much,’ Morag says.

Tayah comments: ‘That would be really upsetting, but my gut is telling me that they’ve walked.’

Daniel and Matt are making history as the first gay couple on the show after being matched together by experts Melanie Schilling and Paul C. Brunson.

Matt, 39, is a charity worker from Yorkshire while is 27, works in sales and lives in Northern Ireland.

All will be revealed in tonight’s episode, but they would be the second exit from the series after the news that Nikita was removed for ‘unacceptable aggression’.

A show spokesperson confirmed the 26-year-old was kicked off the E4 show after a situation ‘escalated off camera’.

A statement read: ‘The wellbeing of cast and crew is our utmost priority at all times throughout production and beyond.

‘During filming, a situation escalated off camera and Nikita displayed a level of aggression that was unacceptable and breached our agreed code of conduct on behaviour.

‘As a result, she was asked to leave the experiment. All involved have been offered support and Nikita has since apologised and resolved the situation with those involved.’

According to reports Nikita ‘lost it and screamed at everyone around the table’ while filming the dinner party scenes.

A teaser for the new episode shown on Tuesday night gave a glimpse at the furious row which saw Nikita threaten to quit the experiment.

Married At First Sight UK continues tonight at 9pm on E4.
