Married At First Sight UK: Nikita explains reason behind explosive row that got her kicked off show

Married At First Sight UK star Nikita Jasmine reflects on the dramatic row that got her removed from the experiment in scenes due to air tonight.

The 26-year-old television personality was kicked off the E4 show after an explosive argument with Jordon, with a spokesperson claiming that ‘a situation escalated off camera’.

In a teaser clip ahead of this evening’s episode, it’s revealed that Nikita and her husband Ant Poole decided to stay in separate apartments.

Opening up on the dinner party antics the following morning, Nikita says: ‘Last night was very overwhelming because it was the first time all of us was together, so I do think that’s why things escalated the way that they did.’

Meanwhile, Ant tells the camera: ‘I keep trying to get into my head that she can’t speak to people the way that she does.

‘She says she wants me to defend her and back her up, but I just can’t do that. It doesn’t sit well with me.’

The fellow Married At First Sight stars also weigh in on Nikita’s behaviour.

Speaking to her husband Franky, Marilyse comments: ‘Nikita was out of hand and quite abusive and not mature.’

Agreeing with his wife, Franky adds: ‘A woman swearing like that is the ugliest thing. I don’t like that.’

‘I love Ant, I love my Nikita, but they’re not a team,’ Morag relays to Luke in bed.

Nikita’s removal from Married At First Sight UK due to ‘unacceptable’ behaviour was announced on Wednesday.

A statement read: ‘The wellbeing of cast and crew is our utmost priority at all times throughout production and beyond.

‘During filming, a situation escalated off camera and Nikita displayed a level of aggression that was unacceptable and breached our agreed code of conduct on behaviour.

‘As a result, she was asked to leave the experiment. All involved have been offered support and Nikita has since apologised and resolved the situation with those involved.’

Tonight’s episode will mark the first commitment ceremony of the series, with experts Mel Schilling, Paul C Brunson and Charlene Douglas getting to the bottom of where the couples are at in their relationship.

‘After a dramatic exit, a new shocking secret is about to be revealed which is set to leave the group in shock,’ a teaser reveals.

Married At First Sight airs tonight at 9pm on E4.
